Towards VA267: Ariane 64 stages arrive in French Guiana

The stages of the first Ariane 64 have arrived in French Guiana, following their transatlantic journey aboard Canopée, the innovative wind-powered ship transporting Ariane 6 stages from continental Europe to Kourou.

At Europe’s Spaceport, the campaign is gaining momentum.

Teams are now moving through the major milestones toward the very first Ariane 6 launch for Amazon Leo, scheduled for February 2026:

– Transfer of the stages from the integration facilities to the launch pad
– Satellite encapsulation
– Transfer of satellites under fairing to the launch zone
– Assembly on the launcher
– Satellite Wet Dress Rehearsal
– Launch Readiness Review
– SSHEL (Liquid helium subsystem) filling
– Final launch countdown and liftoff.

With the Ariane 6 elements now in Kourou and the first Amazon Leo satellites already on site, teams are fully engaged in mission preparations as the path to VA267/LE-01 continues.
