Flight VA253: Countdown on hold due to weather

The countdown for Flight VA253 has been put on hold due to a “red” indication for weather, which is related to unfavorable winds over the Spaceport in French Guiana.

Flight VA253’s new targeted liftoff time is 7:04 p.m. in Kourou (22:04 UTC).

The Ariane 5 launch vehicle and its three spacecraft passengers – Galaxy 30, MEV-2 and BSAT-4b – are in stable and safe conditions.
