Flight VA251: Ariane 5 lifts off from French Guiana

Arianespace’s Ariane 5 launcher has lifted off from French Guiana carrying EUTELSAT KONNECT and GSAT-30 – which will be deployed during a sequence lasting 38 minutes from liftoff to final separation.

Payload lift performance for today’s mission to geostationary transfer orbit – designated Flight VA251 in Arianespace’s launcher family numbering system – is estimated at 7,888 kg. This total includes the two satellite passengers, plus the workhorse vehicle’s dual-payload deployment system and integration hardware.
