Soyuz set for November 29 liftoff on Arianespace’s next launch
Arianespace’s eighth mission of 2020 – and its third this year using a medium-lift Soyuz – will be carried out tomorrow (November 29) from the Spaceport in French Guiana.
The launch vehicle will be carrying a total payload of approximately 1,340 kg, and will place its undisclosed satellite passenger into Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO).
Arianespace’s two preceding Soyuz launches this year – performed in February and March – were conducted from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Tomorrow’s mission is designed Flight VS24 in the company’s numbering system.
