Pacific Telecommunications Council 2006 Conference & Exhibition
Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
January 15-18, 2006

Arianespace continued its active participation in the annual Pacific Telecommunications Council's telecommunications conference and exhibition, which was held in Honolulu, Hawaii during the third week of January.

This yearly gathering of the nonprofit, non-governmental organization brings together some 3,000 executives from more than 50 countries to discuss and support the beneficial use of telecommunications in the Pacific region.

Activities at the 2006 event kicked off with the traditional Arianespace Honolulu boat cruise on Sunday, January 15, which was conducted under a joint sponsorship of the Launch Services Alliance - the pioneering commercial service offering formed by Arianespace with Boeing Launch Services and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

During the meeting's conference sessions, Le Gall provided an update on Arianespace's activities and an outlook for the Asia/Pacific satellite marketplace.
