Chief Executive Officer Jean-Yves Le Gall continued his series of briefings with the international news media to review Arianespace's results of the past 12 months and discuss its goals for 2007.

Today's meeting was in Berlin, where Le Gall spoke with reporters from German newspapers and the trade press.

He underscored the maturity of Ariane 5 - demonstrated by its 30 successful launches, including 16 in a row - and noted how German industry has been a key element of Ariane's success, starting from the early days of this launcher family's development.

The Berlin briefing followed meetings with Le Gall and the international press in Paris (on January 8), the Italian press in Rome (on January 22), and Spanish media in Madrid (January 26).
