Arianespace launch with Herschel & Planck: Liftoff is set for Wednesday, May 6, 2009

With the additional checks related to the flight worthiness of the Herschel satellite now completed, Arianespace and the European Space Agency have set the date for the next launch of Ariane 5 on Wednesday, May 6, 2009.
