Arianespace: Next launch scheduled for the night of Friday, June 24 to Saturday, June 25, 2005

On the night of Friday, June 24 to Saturday, June 25, 2005, Arianespace will use an Ariane 5 ECA to launch the Spaceway 2 and Telkom 2 spacecraft. The launch window will open:

• from 09:03 pm to 09:36 p.m., Kourou time, on Friday, June 24,
• from 02:03 am to 02:36 a.m., Paris time, on Saturday, June 25.

Spaceway 2 (6,116 kg at liftoff) will be launched for the American operator DirecTV and will provide direct television services for the United States.

Telkom 2 (1,975 kg at liftoff) will be launched for the Indonesian operator PT Telkom Indonesia and will provide telecommunications services to Indonesia.
