Arianespace Flight 163: Launch delayed

Kourou, French Guiana, July 16, 2004

During final preparations for Flight 163, an anomaly was detected on the Ariane 5 launch table.

In order to carry out additional verifications, Arianespace has decided to postpone the launch by 24 hours.

Flight 163 is now scheduled during the night of Saturday, July 17 to Sunday, July 18, 2004.
