SingTel's 2010 Charity Golf Tournament

Arianespace once again sponsored the annual charity golf tournament organized by SingTel, which is one of Asia’s leading communications groups with operations and investments in more than 20 countries and territories around the world.
Since the inaugural tournament in 2000, Arianespace has been a key supporter of this regular event – which raises funds for children’s charities in Singapore as part of the SingTel Touching Lives Fund philanthropy program.
The program’s beneficiaries for 2010 provide training, special education and counseling programs to children and young people with special needs.
This year’s event – which kicked off the SingTel Touching Lives Fund campaign for 2010 – was held July 23 at Singapore's Laguna National Golf & Country Club. In total, more than $730,000 was raised throughout the day – a new record for the tournament.
SingTel has utilized Arianespace launch services since 1998, when its ST-1 satellite was launched by an Ariane 4.
