A weather-related postponement for the Ariane 5 launch with ASTRA 1N and BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R

August 5, 2011 – Ariane Flight V203

Unfavorable weather conditions over the launch pad in Kourou, French Guiana has led to the postponement of tonight’s Ariane 5 mission with the ASTRA 1N and BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R satellite payloads.

A new launch date will be determined based on the evolution of weather conditions.

This mission will be Arianespace’s fourth Ariane 5 launch of 2011, with a total payload lift performance of 9,095 kg.
