Mission Update
Postponement of the Ariane 5 launch with Arabsat-5A and COMS
June 24, 2010 – Ariane Flight 195
Arianespace has postponed its Ariane 5 flight with the Arabsat-5A and COMS satellite payloads following a pressurization anomaly involving the launcher’s main cryogenic stage during today’s final countdown.
The launch vehicle and its two spacecraft passengers were immediately placed in stand-by mode and are being maintained in fully safe conditions.
A new date for the mission is to be announced as soon as possible.
