Mission Update

Arianespace's Ariane 5 launch with Arabsat-5A and COMS is set for this evening

June 24, 2010 – Ariane Flight 195

The heavy-lift Ariane 5 mission with the Arabsat-5A and COMS satellite passengers is rescheduled for this evening following additional verifications that were performed after a launcher subsystem anomaly stopped the final countdown yesterday.

During these verifications, the heavy-lift Ariane 5 ECA remained on the launch pad with its two payloads.

The countdown has resumed at the Spaceport in French Guiana, with today’s liftoff planned during a launch window that opens at 6:41 p.m., local time in French Guiana.
