Ariane 5's launch with ASTRA 3B and COMSATBw-2 is postponed

April 9, 2010 – Ariane Flight 194

Tonight’s Ariane 5 mission with the ASTRA 3B and COMSATBw-2 satellites has been postponed following the detection of an anomaly in the launch vehicle’s pressurization system during final countdown to liftoff.

The Ariane 5 and its two passengers were put into a safe standby mode, and a new date for the flight will be announced as soon as possible.
