Jean-Yves Le Gall presents positive market outlook in Financial Times

With Arianespace on track for another record year, Chairman & CEO Jean-Yves Le Gall was recently featured in the Financial Times’ “View from the Top” column – the British newspaper’s weekly discussion with an international CEO or business leader of note.

Interviewed by European business correspondent Richard Milne, Le Gall discussed Arianespace’s robust business despite the global recession, thanks in part to its major telecommunications and direct TV customers.

Le Gall also expressed optimism about the commercial launch market in general, as well as Europe’s ability to rebound from the economic downturn.

The interview covered a range of other topics, including the future of space exploration, new launch competitors from India and China, the role of government support in the satellite business, and the growth of the global economy.
