A postponement for Ariane 5’s upcoming launch with ASTRA 2F and GSAT-10

The next Ariane 5 mission from French Guiana will be postponed by a few days for additional checks to be performed on the heavy-lift launcher.

A new date will be announced shortly for this dual-passenger flight, which is to carry ASTRA 2F and GSAT-10.

ASTRA 2F is an Astrium-built six-metric-ton-class platform carrying Ku- and Ka-band relay payloads; while the 3.4-ton GSAT-10 was produced by the Indian Space Research Organisation, and is configured with Ku- and C-band transponders, along with the GAGAN (GPS and GEO augmented navigation) system.
