France’s Prime Minister has a close-up look at Arianespace’s Paris Air Show presence
Arianespace received high-level French government attention during today’s inaugural activities for the 2013 Paris Air Show.
Arianespace Chairman & CEO Stéphane Israël provides an update on Ariane 5 launch activity to French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, who was presented with a scale model of the workhorse heavy-lift vehicle.
During the visit of French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault at Le Bourget Airport, a scale Ariane 5 model was presented by Arianespace Chairman & CEO Stéphane Israël.
The Prime Minister visited Arianespace’s exhibit on the show grounds’ static display area, and was accompanied during the traditional Paris Air Show walk-around by Claude Bartolone, President of the French National Assembly; Geneviève Fioraso, Minister of Research and Higher Education; along with French Space Agency President Jean-Yves Le Gall.
France has been one of Europe’s most active space industry supporters, playing key role in the Ariane launcher family’s development and operation.
