Issue: December 13, 2010

Arianespace will launch Sicral 2, a military satellite designed to provide strategic and tactical telecommunications to French and Italian forces, as well as reserve capacity for other NATO countries. This is the 36th national security payload entrusted to an Ariane vehicle.
