Corporate information > Annual Report
The latest Annual Report provides highlights from Arianespace’s busy commercial activity in 2012, during which the company expanded its order book backlog with 13 new contract wins – including 10 for geostationary satellites to be orbited by Ariane 5, plus one dedicated mission with the heavy-lift workhorse; along with a dedicated Vega flight and launch of an auxiliary payload.
Further strengthening the robustness of its business, Arianespace’s heavy-lift Ariane 5 completed six launches into geostationary orbit – carrying a total of 12 telecommunications satellites; and delivered Europe’s third Automated Transfer Vehicle for servicing of the International Space Station. The 2012 activity also included two medium-lift Soyuz missions from French Guiana and the lightweight Vega vehicle’s qualification flight.
In addition, the Annual Report features a message from Chairman & CEO Jean-Yves Le Gall, a review of Arianespace’s program activities, a company outlook and more.
